Abu has a wide pool of knowledge regarding starting businesses in 6 fields; namely, F&B, Gift shop, an electronic and computer export business and money changing. He began trading in stock market at a tender age of 19 and was a top producer in his short stint in insurance industry. He also has a vast experience in Network Marketing industry and invested in properties.
As the head of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, Abu is deeply committed to promoting student entrepreneurship and financial intelligence. He writes for the local newspaper for youth entrepreneurship, mentors more than 10 student start-up companies and speaks to many business and community based organizations. All these efforts have clinched him the award for the yearly Spirit of Enterprise in 2005 by SOE Singapore.

Entrepreneur and Professor Carlos has been described as an 'Ideas Man' by Asia's leading newspaper and has been cited by the Singaporean administration as a 'thought leader' and 'a talent that has made his mark on the country'. He also won the IT Leaders' Award for his contribution to the IT industry and was named Singapore's 'Young Professional of the Year' in 2003.
Carlos enjoys the process of invention and has spearheaded the birth of a product that was voted as one of the 'Top 4 Business Intelligence and Customer Interaction Applications of 2002' by the California-based RealWare Awards. Carlos is also a visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore, where he teaches a course entitled 'Capitalizing Innovation' that inculcates the process of stimulating, managing and leveraging innovation.

Before joining the National Research Foundation (NRF), Dr Yeoh was the CEO of Green Dot Internet Services, a start-up company operating in the internet and mobile technology space for 5 years.
He was previously the Assistant Chief Executive of the National Science & Technology Board (now the Agency for Science, Technology & Research), which was responsible for developing Singapore’s capabilities in science and technology as well as the promotion of high tech entrepreneurship. Dr Yeoh is also an adjunct associate professor at the National University of Singapore, teaching a graduate course on IT & Entrepreneurship.
